I am always in awe at how fearless little ones seem to be when it comes to learning how to master their own bodies. The courage it takes to try and try again after each tumble and bump is amazing. As I watch Little Miss take on the challenge of crawling, pulling up on the furniture and then tentatively taking a few steps…all within a few short days… I wonder if I could ever be as persistent. Perhaps it’s because she has no doubt…and I as an adult am on a first name basis with doubt. I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s walking by Christmas. Then again, her tenacious desire to climb everything like a little goat may mean we’ll find her on the counters long before she can walk. After all…she is pulling up on things and attempting to walk before sitting!
