“Everything Counts” has become that counterbalance to “Keeping it Real”. If I only look at the crazy, not so perfect aspects of my life…I will truly go crazy. So I try to balance that with trying to see and acknowledge the good in my day…balanced against the imperfections.
So…if I point out that there are 6 overflowing baskets of laundry still waiting to be folded and put away (one of my ongoing frustrations)…I can then step back and acknowledge that at least the washer and dryer still work (knock on wood) and that everyone does have clean clothes. Even in their wrinkled state. 🙂
